yellow swirl universe - need info

Honestly, I do NOT like the swirl universes. However, I saw one on ebay sometime back that was linked to this website (some jemsiter pointed it out on the reseller thread link) and I really dug it because it was mostly yellow in the swirl. And not a nice yellow either, but really putrid. It was ugly, as most jemsiters seemed to hate it, but as ugly as it was, I still really dug it. So my question is, was that a one off? Are there figures available for yellow swirls versus green ones etc... If they are relatively common as swirls go, are they cheaper than the other "more pretty" colors? I ask because I've not seen one before or since.

I think I know the one you are talking about, and yeah, *I thought it was uuuuuuuuuuuugly too, hehehe, but it seems to me it was just a standard UV77MC with a mostly yellow MKR swirl, I think it's been on ebay a few times actually. *all the MKR swirls seem to have more yellow in them, and splotchy as hell, I think the only nice one I've seen is the one that moondance owns, and he's selling it

Yeah that first one is gross in a good way, while the second one is gross in a gross way (no offense) but I do love how dark that neck is. *:-) Again how has the resale value been compared to "good swirl colors"? Any diff?

Prices always based on appeal/condition, so you either discount them a little more or be willing to hold them a little longer for the right buyer.

Actually I love that first one (uvmc15.jpg)
It's got it's own little thang goin' on on the left horn, like a mini-swirled guitar, plus around the control area.
Very tasteful if you ask me.

Just shows how we all have different tastes.

Steve

P.S. The 2nd one just looks like a mistake of nature.

That's the thing with MKR (assuming they swirled all the UVMC)

The swirls are inconsistent.

I swear I thought the PMC were pink multi color instead of purp until I found out they were supposed to be purple.

Look at the PMC section. Notice how the first visible PMC on that page will make you drool but the others on the other pages will make you upchuck your froot loops.
