What you don't like Barbara Streisand? I think she has a Jem collection out of this world. And I would highly recommend watching her movie "What's Up Doc?" perhaps one of the most creative, wacky, zaney comedies ever made.

So would you guys say its a good buy? I've never owned a jem but from what I've heard 555's are basically pure lacquered sh*t with strings.

I personally wouldn't. To buy a 555 would be settling IMO which I don't like to do. I'd rather wait, save up more money, and keep my eyes peeled for a Jem at a good price. There's a jemsiter selling a VBK for $1,100 usd. Solid deal there
