2 questions on the RG 20th Anniversary please :)

Hey guys,

So I just received my DY 20th RG, and I cant tell you enough how awesome I think the guitar is. Unfortunately, I do not have a digital camera, so I cant give you picks, but you guys know what it looks like

Anyway, 2 questions, if you dont mind. I want to register the guitar on the RG 20th registry, but I am a bit confused on the serial number. I thought that the serial number is the number behind the neck, but then the registry site says that it is the number behind the backplate. I guess if thats the case, its the last numbers? I hope so, as I have a super low number on the backplate, in the 50's. But if its the neck, then I think the number is in the 800's. Last 3 numbers I guess for that....

Also, I am quite surprised that the pickups are acutally pretty damn good on this thing, and I am not sure if I want to switch them out. I have been trying to gather some info on this pickups, maybe if they are modeled after some pickups, but cant find anything on them. Any help on some info on the pickups would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, congrats and good luck to those getting one or have one!! Highly recommended. Tomorrow, I will take it for a setup, and I will give my full review at that point.

Cheers!!

Re: 2 questions on the RG 20th Anniversary please :)

The last four numbers on the backplate are the numbers everyone's talking about. Number whatever out of 1,987.

All I know about the pickups is what's on the Ibanez website. neck V1, S1, bridge V2. I like the pickups a lot, for what it's worth.

And yes, even though we've seen a couple of DYs, we need to see yours.

Re: 2 questions on the RG 20th Anniversary please :)

Thanks all, I appreciate the comments Now that i figured out how to post these picks, I guess I should take some picks of my S2075 for you guys

I am up in the air about the pickups. I mean, they do sound good, actually, really good, but for some stupid reason, even before I got the guitar, I was figuring out what to put in them, if anything. If I actually end up getting a new set, I was thinking of a Super 3 in the bridge, a cruiser in the middle, and an air norton in the neck. How do you think this combo would work out? All Dimarzios, by the way. I kinda want to stick with Dimarzios for this one, as my S2075 has all Duncans, so just want to mix it up a bit. Any opinions on a good H-S-H setup for this thing would be appreciated
