Just to quote myself on the other thread...

Of course, just to throw oil on the fire, just because it may be a hard tail, doesn't mean it doesn't have a trem as well!!

i am actually in the minority that likes black and "natural" finish guitars. i love how Jem 10th, RGA and RGT Ibbies look.

I think you're one of the few who likes the black, or correctly the abundance of them, but I think most people like natural finish guitars but would liketo include more colorful solid colors. And not replace the natural finishes completely. But there are a few people who go on about the "coffee table gutiar," it's true.
I like bright colors and natural finishes both. I like black too, just not too much black. I just think that Desert Yellow, Lochness Green, Road Flare Red and so on are classics for Ibanez.

Does anyone (Rich)
know if we will have anything with the original Wizard neck profile? Other than the 770 reissues. That is what I want more than anything else.

If they reissue a model I've heard, it would be Wiz, otherwise I doubt you'll see the Wiz come back to regular production soon.

Re: 2009 ibanez line-up speculation
I'd like to see a '87 S540 with the 3 individual pick up switches !
This would match with the "Wizard model" reissue too

I would have thought original wizard necks are a thing of the past... i hope not, but theres a reason they were phased out before.

Re: 2009 ibanez line-up speculation
Has anyone looked at the Vai website and seen that cool double neck, acoustic top/6 string electric bottom.....hmmmm wonder if that's the new JEM and wonder if that's what was hinted at with the hard tail but trem too??
I myself am really hoping for an RGA 7 string, and perhaps maple board and reverse headstock would just be icing on the cake for that.

Re: 2009 ibanez line-up speculation
It won't be the double neck acoustic/electric.
He was using that back in 2007! I doubt they'll plan to release it. Though it'd be nice.
