i don't think so, it won't be AT 100 if it has super wizard.

Thanks. The RG550RI's neck was a little different so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask since it's a RI.

It seems the AT100 will be made to the exact specs as the original including the hand shaped neck - and since Andy likes the strat type radii - round .... ah well. That guitar sounds so versital too.

I played AT200 for a while, never played the At 100 though, I felt the AT 200 neck is a little bit 'strange' to my hand, yes, I'm used to wizard necks.
BUT.. when i had my hand on the JS 6000, it felt confortable, it's not as strange as the AT 200 neck.

I wish the AT 100 had same feel like the JS... but i really really doubt it.

Ibanez will have to restructure or die. USA and Europe are major the markets for theor MIJ production, and if the FX parities dont reverse in the short term they ll probably end up having to stop the production in Fujigen.

May be they can cut off on their margins for a couple of months or a year, but in the end they just cant survive with this yen/bp yen/usd and yen/eur parities.

Add to that the worldwide recession and job losses, and I fail to see who will buy 2k-3k and above Prestige guitars and signatures.

They might as well consider starting production in the USA...

This is a golden oportunity for US superstrat manufactors to regain market share. Peavey, Carvin, Jackson, MM/EB..... its now or never for this guys.

That said, Ibanez has some pretty nice guitars for this year.

^ Keep in mind the Japanese made Ibanez guitars are sold to professionals, yuppies, etc. not kids & musicians. Ibanez can make healthy profits on these by releasing the right products. They can also make more profit selling 100 anniversary guitars than 1000 cheap japanese RGs... glen

^As the yen goes up, so it will again come down, probably. Even when it does, do you think we'll ever see a price rollback?

They have considered US manufacturing, but they'd be starting from scratch. AFAIK there are no build to spec US production companies like there are overseas.
