Just got off the phone with my friend from NAMM

Ibanez Fireman has a list price of $9333.33

The guitar comes with goodies. Hippie Strap, Bullet cable, and a pair of Extreme Isolation headphones, just like Pauls. My friend said "it played like a dream."

He also found out that one of the reasons it so expensive is because they have to make the guitars in a separate factory, due to the poisonous Korina wood shavings.

There is not an exact number of Firemen going to be made, or at least he doesnt know, but he was told the majority of them will be in the United States.

The 55 guitars were related to the NAMM sold guitars which come with the strap and stuff. there are supposed to be more after NAMM, but they wont come with the extras.

There will be 50 Fireman's total. 45 SSS for World distribution, 18 to HUSA, and 5 in HH for Japan distribution only, probably by lottery the way they usually do.

The 20th is very reasonable at $2666, but limited to 300 Worldwide, 120 to HUSA, so tough getting allocations. I have 1, will probably have 2 if I'm lucky being in the stacked territory as I am.

Thanks for that confirmation. I'm not in the market for these guitars right now, but will definitely be hounding for one in 5 - 10 years.

My pick for shows coolest, the new 7 string hybrid bass. Short scale, plays like a guitar, at least after playing these 8 strings it does
