Hi all,
Since I've joined, I've pulled out some of my guitars that I haven't used in a long while and one of them has always been a puzzle to me. I've found a link off here to the 1992
Ibanez Catalog and Identified it as a 540SOL and according to the neck plate it's from the Case Ave. shop.
Most of the ones I've seen up to now have dot inlays, mine are abalone ovals and mine has the Custom Made logo on the fret board.
From the
custom shop history here it says that the Case Ave. shop was for Endorsee guitars... is that what this is? If so, why would it have been in the 92 catalog? Maybe it was a C Endorsee guitar but with a different pu config?
Anyways, here's pics, please let me know any info you have. I have owned it since about early 93 and never play it because my 540R Radius feels so much better to me. I may be looking for a JS model to replace this or a Jem or ?
