Re: A ? on the Edge Zero

Hm.. Same happened to me when I bought my S5470. The arm wouldn't tighten at all and it would be all wobbly.

It was after I returned it and got a replacement that Rich informed me about the little washer in the cap :P

Re: A ? on the Edge Zero

its a plastic collar with a notch in one side and a split down the other, bevelled on one edge so that when you push it down, it constricts and places tension on the bar.

I doubt you'll be able to find anything similar from anyone but ibanez/rich

Re: A ? on the Edge Zero

Any officially licensed lbanez store should be able to get you the parts. Cost a lot and from what I've heard there is a freaking 6-month wait on some parts but Rich is not the only option. Just a good one.

If I don't have them then they're on back order, and nobody else does, or will, until I do.

Re: A ? on the Edge Zero

Which is why you're a good option. But still not the only one.

Re: A ? on the Edge Zero

Or you could just return the whole guitar.

That's what I did

I just told them the arm wasn't tightening they went to the back and gave me a completely new one.

But this was within the 30-day return period. Don't know what happens after that.
