Re: Can someone identify this guitar

sounds like a JPM neck in a RG570, with mahog body, transblue color.
for the Original Edge black trem, i'd say a nice axe.

Re: Can someone identify this guitar

Lest I miss my guess, that's a UCEW1LC, a USA Custom "exotic wood" guitar. All versions of the UCEW had a mahogany body and DiMarzio's (PAF Pro's, I believe). The only thing that differed was the type of figured top, they offered lacewood, bird's eye maple, flamed maple, and I think there was a quilted top version too.

They were only made in 1990/91, and were one of the earliest Ibanez guitars to feature the AANJ. They're very rare.

I don't think it's mahogany.. it's ash.
My bet is on RG 548 with JPM neck.

No USA Custom logo and V-series pickups. Not a USA Custom. Not stock, anyway. One of the domestic market RG770 variants perhaps?

Re: Can someone identify this guitar

I missed the v-pickups. Doh! My RG2770 has the same inlays on the neck, but mine has the newer RG Prestige logo on the headstock. I'm still pretty convinced this RG is an early/mid 90's model of some sort, as that's the era that headstock logo came from. I guess the only way to know for sure would be to check the neck pocket.

I think it's a RG548 for visual-deficient people (big dots and big logo)

tell me if i'm wrong ! :/
