Re: Changing the inlays

You will never be able to fill the sharktooth inlays so that they are not visible. The only good way to do what you want is to replace the fretboard -- which isn't that big of a deal for a decent luthier.

Re: Changing the inlays

doesn`t work only replace the inlays...
you will have to change the fingerboard or build a new neck.

look for a good luthier (and then, you wait with a lot of patience )

regards.

Yeah dude, what youre talking about is more trouble than it's worth. I'd just look into getting a neck from one of the vendors here on Jemsite. ET apparently has a good rep, I'd give them a look.

More work and expense than it's worth. If it's that important to you, maybe consider selling your guitar and putting the money towards something with a vine.

It`s very precise work, any mistakes or oversights could cost you dearly. You need to know what you`re doing, and you obviously don`t. I agree with everyone, sell what you have and go for a new axe or ET makes some really nice necks. then you`ll have a spare and that could make a good project if you wanna start learning about putting guitars up together.

Vines are very nice, but they`re easy to find too

Hmm i already have a JEM with vine on it, I'm going to ask some local luthiers how expensive it would be to do that.
