cleaning textured vital silver finish

i was just wondering what is the best product to clean this finish. it doesn't seem to have any clearcoat, and i'm not sure what type of finish it is(ie what type of paint), so i'm worried that i might ruin it using the wrong solution to clean it. thanks in advance.

Cleaning pretty much any guitar finish can be done with a slightly damp micro fibre cloth. Buy a couple of good quality ones and put them in the washing machine. When they come out, they should be ideal for cleaning, not too wet or dry.

ok thanks i'll check into those. any specific brand or style? are there different types?

I clean mine with a soft rag and a little warm water.Just get the rag slightly damp.

Zillions of makers. 99% from China, as you'd expect. Just go to your local multi-market and look for the car finishing section. Should find several options available. They tend to be relatively not too expensive, so as Dee said, try not buying the cheapest one, but the better ones. Thread count is indicate in some cases. The higher, the better. Touch and feel them, the softer puffier, the better.

I personally use Carnauba wax, protects a little, ease further cleaning, makes the surface shine like a mirror, smells great , very unexpensive. Buy good commercial brands.
