I think I have this same problem on my S2170FB only I bought it online (actually it was a gift) and now have no idea what to do. I am new to trems but a while ago I did notice the very slight difference between the two edges. I wondered if something was off but didn't give it much thought since I'm a noob and didn't know much better.

Now I'm pissed. I'm irritated with Ibanez and with myself for being so ignorant.

I think the person who gave it to me got it from American Musical Supply. What do I do to get this fixed? Do I have a prayer or getting a new guitar?

I'm not even sure where the receipt is and I know the person who got it for me doesn't keep stuff like that.

What do I even say to AMS??

I talked to AMS and they can't do anything. If I want it fixed I have to take it up with Ibanez.

Often, knots/burls might be seen as imperfections but in this case isn't the whole point of this wood choice to show off the burls?
