Difference: LA Custom Shop - normal Ibanez

What is the difference between the LA Custom Shop and the normal Ibanez guitars? Just the design? (which I can´t see..., it´s the same as all the other Ibanez´)
And where to buy a LA Custom Shop guitar? I don´t know why, but I like them!
Tell me everything you know about them. :P

details are sparse, but these are sold in Japan (like J-Customs) but are designed in the ibanez-endorsee's LA Custom Shop. They are made in japan, with quality that should be equivalent to the upper-end ibanez axes coming out of there... glen

glen refers to the LA custom shop designed series which are made in japan. are you referring to actual LA MADE guitars? i believe you can't get those unless an endorsee (or former endorsee) sells them, like dino cazares did.

go to daveweiner.com to see 2 cool 7 strings custom made for him.

You can buy them, but just in Japan, they aren´t sold anywhere else then in Japan.
Are there more LA Custom Shop guitars then those?: http://www.jemsite.com/jcustom/jpn_j...csd/index.html

I saw a CSD2 at the website of a guitarretailer here in Holland, so I guess there are some in Europe and therefore possibly in the US too
I just don't know if I should take that one, a Jem7 bsb or a pgm90Ham...
All three are in the same shop as well as some other guitars that are really nice (but I'm not interested in those )
