Does anyone own an RG 270?

I was wondering when this was made, and if there was a way to find out. I also wanna know what trem comes stock with this guitar, because mine didnt come with an Edge trem and i was just curious if I was getting screwed out of a deal on this guitar I bought on "the bay." Its a lefty though, so I'm pretty sure they dont make this model anymore....just curious send feedback guys..

A quick google search took me to a review of the RG270, dated 01. I then went to the 2001 catalogue on Ibanezrules.com and voila - there it is: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/2001/01018.jpg

If you look around in the catalogues before and after 01 you can probably figure out the entire time span this model was made.

To find out exactly when your guitar is made take a look at the serial number.

where can i find out more with the serial #? Is there a site that I could put it in?

The first two numbers of the serial number is the year it was made. they came with several different trems from the trs 2 to trs 505.
