Those are widely available across europe, also in blue; it's not a russia-only model. A friend of mine got one and it's very nice. I've seen that 1550 too.

thats not special, it was available in the uk, its in the 2004 brochure
the bad things about it is the ultra neck and the switch. the uk also had a blue version. im pretty sure it was available everywhere. as you can tell, its pre 2005 as the dots are huge!
