Dress up my 1570!

I love my Mirage Red RG1570. But I think it needs some more color.
As you can see from the pic, it's got boring white dimarzios on it right now...

That's where you guys come in.

What pickup/knob color combos do you guys think would look good? I'm open to anything. I'll even custom order Pink/Purple hybrid pickups from dimarzio if I like your idea. Anything goes.

I would say go with Pink, the Purple would be too dark for that finish I think...Or you could do the Pink/Purple Combo, that might look fairly interesting...

I own the same guitar and I couldn't think of anything else to do other than basic black. Sometimes I wish the clear "black" coating was a bit lighter. It's also tough with the red flakes fading to amber and green.
Try red and black bobbins.

Re: Dress up my 1570!

Both Mirage Red and Blue look black unless you see it in really bright light. If you like to dress up your guitars, you shouldn't have got a mirage finish. Not many options for the RG1570 though, suede black is worse IMO.

I can see suede black being cool with white pickups, kind of like Grendel's RG5. Or maybe even red.
Iron Pewter isn't great either. Black/grey with a slight hint of blue. I think only black or white will work with IP.

=[ nobody likes my black? i just got this in yesterday
and yes the knobs arent NOS white base knobs...theyre cheap rip off POS knobs.
but i like the pink/urple idea for your guitar, just make sure the colors are nice and vibrant
