Edge Zero trem compatibility

I'm just reading about this newer design. I really liked the ZR Trem on the S models from a few years ago, but I went with a Prestige 2550. I'm happy with the guitar, but it needs some new flavour so I'm throwing on a new pickguard and am removing the middle (rarely used) pickup.

While I like the trem, I wonder if it can be swapped with an Edge Zero trem?...with the option to lock the bar where you want it (via collar, like a Floyd) and the WICKED intonation adjustors, this trem seems like a winner.

Also, my RG is from 2005...without the shark inlays, just dots. Would that matter regarding the trem route? And can I perhaps just buy one of the new bars with the collars and at least get that added functionality? I'm tired of having two bars, one for when I want it to stay put (with the new plastic rings), and one with worn out rings that spins loosely.

idk, the edge zero has that weird system in the back to make it the edge zero

Yeah, just swap the EZ arm holder into your existing trem.

Good luck. I'm still waiting for HUSA to find out what the part numbers are from Japan so I can get them to order them, from Japan.
