EdgePro material

I have this weird question, guys...I read in the previous posts that Gotoh (Japan) makes the EdgePro for the Prestige guitars...what i would like to know is...What material do they use to produce it?? is it steel?? it doesn't look like steel....i keep hearing that the Original Floyd Rose is made of stainless steel, making it a better system than the EdgePro...
