EGEN18
Anyone excited about this model? I really don't know much about Herman Li but this guitar has some kickass features. It's probably the best of the 08' line up IMHO....

Re: EGEN18
I'm very excited about all of the 24 fret S series.
I am really digging Herman's new sig as well.

Re: EGEN18
I have just learned that they cost more than a Jem... I am a little less excited now.
I was thinking they would be more in the JS price range (where they should be) but $2200+ is a little much.

Right, I hate to Imagine what the UK dealers will be asking.

Unfortunately, no.
It's purple. With gold hardware. I can't think of many nastier combinations!
And the price is a joke. Surely?

Re: EGEN18
What is there about this model that makes them think it is worth so much? I happen to like the purple (sorry Dee) but holy crap! I doubt I will be parking anything new in the driveway this year...

Re: EGEN18
It's not bad, but the price makes me not want one. Definately getting a 24 fret S this year though!

Re: EGEN18
The price was a bad move by Ibanez. People who will buy it because they are Dragonforce fans won't have enough money and the people who wanted to by it for it's function and form won't want to spend that kind of money whne the 24fret S is so much cheaper.

Re: EGEN18
The whole guitar has to go.
On a serious note, I just can't justify the price point. I could see maybe $1200 (I still wouldn't want it), but $2200 is ridiculous.
