Thanks! I should have made a thread about just the Talman haha, I really hope I stumble across a new neck for it. I stupidly started scalloping the one that's on it years ago, I think I'll probably finish it up this summer when I have some time. Still need to figure out the truss rod issue if I can't find a new neck.

Feel the same way, it plays perfect. I immediately put 11s on it when I bought it because that what I had been using, but I decided last week to switch to 9s just for the heck of it and WOW, plays like a butter now

What p'ups do you have? Mine has the single Duncan full shred in the bridge but I'm toying with the idea of swapping it out for an Evolution. Clips I've seen on the 'net seem to indicate the Evo's bring out the best in these guitars.

Oh cool how does the Duncan sound? Mine has the stop pickups in it right now, I think I'm going to put A Nickle covered tone zone and air norton in it though, with a chopper in the middle.

Evos could be worth a try! I had the evo neck and bridge with a chopper in the middle and the guitar was SUPER thick and chunky sounding, I loved it. Ended up trading it straight up for a 550 that's how good it sounded lol.
