Finally got a Prestige!!! : D

Getting back into guitar because my living situation prevents me from being able to play my drums very often if at all. I've had a few different Ibanez guitar, my first was a Talman tc420 which I still had, I've also had an rg350, rg550, and an Apex II.

But this is my first prestige!!!

what better way to get back into playing??

Pick her up for $450, I think I got a pretty good deal.

That be a 1570. i love mine plays like butter and very classy feeling as well.
I put a clear guard and tophat knobs on mine for a jem feel.
mine is the grey one here.
i actually had 2 twins.

That looks super cool! Where did you get the pick guard from? I think I'd really like to that to mine!

top of page ( pickguard paradise).
except i use ebay to talk to him and his name is tommyplays there.
Just make sure there is some masking tape where the holes will go before you drill. it will make holes real clean.
and use some tape around the bit to use as a depth gauge and it is super easy.

most important make sure you line it up for the bridge to clear and the rest follows.

Love the Talman though, superb guitar. Shame they did it only for 2 years.

That was my first guitar, got it back middle school haha, I still LOVE the way it plays though. It's really a shame that the truss rod is stripped out

I'd like to find a neck that will fit it, swap the pickups and bridge out and make it play good again.

That TC is one sexy beast though............. I miss seeing those around.

Thanks! The neck on it is great too, if it wasn't kinda broken and I could set it up right, I could probably get it playing as nice as the RG. I like the narrowness of the neck.

Nah it's Black, red would be cool though! Yeah that's what I thought! It was on consignment at a local music store for $480, I offered $450 and the kid took it, he must have been hard up for cash haha.

CONGRATS, glad you found an axe that makes u happy. Prestige/J.customs are like my favorite line of any guitar brand, and $450 is a freakin steal, so u better b happy. enjoy

, told my girlfriend it would probably be the last guitar I need to buy....then i started looking at the JS series again....and 7 strings.... oh well it's an addiction I suppose
