Finding a prestige neck and misc parts

I'm working on a project guitar based on an RG and am trying to find a prestige wizard AANJ neck. Aside from the occasional used piece on ****, finding this neck has been a real pain. Also, I've not had any luck finding a wiring harness for a two pickup guitar either. Parts resources seem to be hard to come by. Aside from Ibanez Rules, are there any other places that used or new RG parts can be found? I'm sure I could get them direct from the factory, but I'd probably end up paying 3 times what the parts are worth.

Thanks for any information provided.

Post a want ad in the classifieds for a neck and any other parts you need.

Is there a reason you didn't want one from the 'bay. I saw a few on there the other day. I would think that would solve your problem.

By the time I got ready to buy one the only one I found on **** had some damage, and I'm looking for a perfect neck. If one comes up I'll jump on it.

Hi homeless, have you looked in the depths of the evil bay? I see them swimming all the time.

Re: Finding a prestige neck and misc parts

There are 6 string Prestige RG necks on e bay all the time and you might find used Ibanez trems (but 90% of them are very 'used')there too occasionally.

For new Ibanez parts you're not really gonna' beat Rich for prices, selection and service, and he actually has the stuff in stock.
His prices are generally lower than the MSRP's,particularly on stuff like the Ibanez trems and lower than an Authorised Ibanez dealer would charge you.

Cottam guitars aren't cheap for parts either and he keeps very little in stock.

Talking

Re: Finding a prestige neck and misc parts

Thanks JTM45

I keep as much in stock as i can
I currently have about £20k's worth of backorders with Ibanez(UK)
If they have it - I have it from them.

The parts i sell just represent trade + usual dealer markup
I just can't get enough of the stuff.
and presumably if what you've asked for has been out of stock thats because ALL i had has been sold - they mustn't have minded the price, because they bought it!

and last time i compared my trem prices to some chap in the States(RH), once you paid USA shipping and your customs charge, theres nothing in it.

The exchange rate warps the market giving people the idea that the USA is cheap - or England is very expensive.
Not a lot i can do about that

Regards

Max
