Why is there no BK offered. The price isn't too bad.

There is, it's another product though (most likely because of the fretboard)
You'd have to search it up

The price is pretty ****e though... Would have prefered something more around £600-700 at most

The price of the 550 has been out for a long time. You had a chance to order one from the states, which is what I had to do to be able to afford one. £849 is a straight rip. Typical of UK prices, really. It translates to something like $1650, whereas the USA gets them for $900. Buying from the US you'll pay significantly less even after shipping and taxes, and there might still be time if you move fast and if you can find a store willing to ship one to the UK. If you want a black one, see Rich, but for other finishes I think he ran out a while back.

They did offer the BK, only they pictured the wrong guitar. I just emailed them and told 'em.

Actually, buying from Rich would be helluva lot cheaper. Just worked out the bk is around £450 shipped to the UK. I haven't added tax, which would normally be around £85-£100 for that guitar, however there's ways of keeping that to a minimum

Seems like a plan to me except I know I'll get fecked on tax or something...

Might give Rich a bell then.

I think the US has much more balanced economy than most of the other western countries, they pay through the teeth for oil but everything else is alot cheaper. That suits me since I couldn't get my license even if I wanted to.

Re: GAK (England) started stocking new Ibanez's

Naaaaw, it's more than £450. I just paid for mine in full without the shipping and I think it came to £467 or something. Go to XE.com and work out what $900 comes to in £. Then factor in $110 for shipping, then you have taxes, etc. It still works out good, especially if you can ummm... keep the taxes to a minimum. As I said, though, Rich only has black ones left.

Rich, how cheap?

I wouldn't mind a black one. I'd get it done LNG and have the dots replaced with green ones. Killer!
