Everyone is going to say get the
Edge Pro
. Well, I've got 3 J-Customs, all with the
Edge Zero
bar. All three stay perfectly in tune without issue. I've set them up to be just where they work perfectly. I'm playing twice a week for 2 hour live sets, I'm in the studio every other week working on sessions and they are just grand. For me, these work far better than the previous Edge Pro bar I had on my Jem and RG3120.

Do you have the ZPS on or Off? Is it the way they recommend at the Tremol-No website to set up your tremolo the correct one?

I've got the bar on. No issues at all. I never looked at their site on how to set up my guitars....I've been doing this for a long time on my own.

I've got no issues with the tuning stability of it, but major issues with its other factors. To me, the only true improvement over previous Edge's is the arm holder, but still, you could always mod an Edge/Lo-Pro/Edge-Pro to have a better arm holder...

The fine tuners are not the best on there, for sure. That would be one of my complaints.

Indeed, however can be easily fixed with an easy-to-do mod.
Original Edge with a floyd-rose style arm holder, which I find much better than the stock push-in/brushing style arm holders.

It may work for you, but I can't stand the OFR holder mod.

I agree, something about the OFR arm angles and profile just don't feel good to me. I know it's all personal choice and it may work for some but not me.

Hope this doesnt double post.
Does the OFR arm in ehr Edge Pro feel higher from the strings than the push in ?

Ok, thank you for the first part. I'll rephrase the second question. Tell me if this is the proper set up.I'm pulling this out of memory after seeing the video a week ago.
Place Fine tuners at mid height.
Mark Claw height
Remove Springs
Pull off Trem
Lubricate/Sharpen Knife Edges
Lubricate Studs.
Set The trem back.

Neither can I, the one made by floyd rose (or fender, whichever way you look at it) I really hate. The schaller licenced holder though I find exellent.

The Schaller just has better tollerences. I don't like it any more than any of the rest of them though

I have no idea what it is, but the Schaller defintaley feels superior to me than the OFR holder. In anycase, I'm sure it would be possible to put an Edge Zero arm holder into an Edge etc. I'll have to try it one day.

I'm hoping it will be, the thread is the same. The problem is getting them to sell the part. I've been trying to get the part number more than a year now.
