As for the pickups I believe they are Air Norton in the neck, Blue Velvet in the middle and a Tone Zone in the bridge...all Dimarzio of course

The pickups in the RG-GEAR are:
Bridge: DiMarzio Super 3
Middle: *DiMarzio Blue Velvet
Neck: *DiMarzio FRED

Mahogany + FRED= "more gooder" tone. (IMO)

Can you elaborate Kev? Specific characteristics?

My bridge is decided (Tone Zone) but still unsure of the neck, was thinking Air Norton or poss a Duncan Alnico Pro II.
Only ever experienced a FRED in the bridge (JS of course).

Oh, it's for the mahog guitar I'm making btw.
