Good MIJ for JPM Conversion?

Does anyone know what a good MIJ/Prestige RG would be for converting to a custom paint job JPM?

I really need the Lo-Pro Trem, AANJ, all-maple neck, and HH config.
The neck should have offset dots, or no inlays. Binding would be a nice touch.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated, as I really am not very familiar with the RG line.

The whole catalog is available at http://www.ibanez.com/guitars

But to get closer to what you want, you'd be better going with an older RG520 or 620, or a 3120 if you want a maple/mahogany combo with offset dots on the neck.

Or look for a Japan-unique model from a place like Ishibashi.

I've seen all of the current models, and I figured there might be a better one for the job that has been discontinued.

I'll look into those two.

EDIT: How about one of these? This'd make the job as easy as new pickups and paint. http://ibanezregister.com/Gallery/RG/gal-rg620bm.htm

I just wanted to put in a friendly reminder about the great graphic kits Universal Jems has of the Petrucci graphic. http://www.universaljems.com/cart/graphic.htm
Would look great with a clear coat!

It doesn't really matter what you use because you could fill any un-needed pickup cavities, and rout new ones for the different knob and switch placement, before painting.

I love those bubinga-topped RG620s... unfortunately, you'd have to do a LOT of sanding to get that oil finish out of the wood before repainting. You might want to consider a regular 620 or a 620x (with piezo).

Yeah, what are some good ones with the neck options I want? Top-routed/pickguard-equipped guitars are out of the question, but I could do with an HSH rear-rout.

If I do this, I'm getting it painted.

That's true. I hadn't thought of that.
