Got an RGA321F :D
UPS brought me this on Monday!
I am stoked... it's a little bit brighter than my RGA121NTF but, otherwise the same thing except the
bridge pup
sounds better (the V7 is not that bad really).

Lovely!!! My eyes have been aiming this guitar for quite sometime already, May I ask you if the string is through the body?

No, the RGAs have the Gibraltar bridge that's not string through.

Re: Got an RGA321F :D
I have the guitar, too. Great instrument. I replaced the DiMarzio/ Ibanez pickup with a
Tone Zone
in the bridge... left the neck one, but will replace that one, too.
The thing that kind of irked me about this guitar is that it's REALLY thin compared to an RG3120 or a Jem or an RG550, etc. Any picture of this guitar, especially a closeup, is VERY misleading. The guitar is thin as hell.
It irks me because there's no
reason
for it to be thin. They could have made it just as 'thick' as the 3120 and 550 and still had an arched top.
It sounds really good and is very light (because it's thin), but it would have sounded much better had it been thicker, I think.

Re: Got an RGA321F :D
I think it just kind of appears that way because of the arched top thinning out to the edges so much. Guess I'll have to measure at the center line to see how thick/thin it is compared to an Rg550 (or other).

I don't think it's thin at all but, I'll compare it with a PGM that's right next to it when I get home. I think the centerline of the guitar is a little thicker and the edges are a little thinner. Superb sounding guitars... much better than the neck-thru ash & mahogany 220 models IMO.

RG550 - 1 5/4 inches at
strap button
RGA121 - 1 1/4 inches at strap button
He's right....considerably thinner. Another 1/4 of mahogony would have fattened up the tone nicely.

Re: Got an RGA321F :D
That's at the edge, in the center, where the pickups are, it's thicker. It's a carved top... all carved top guitars have less girth around the edges.

Re: Got an RGA321F :D
Maybe the 'center' is 'thicker,' but OVERALL, the guitar is much thinner than a 550 or an RG3120. It sounds really great, don't get me wrong and I'm glad I bought it (new, BTW, not even used). If I weren't happy with it, I'd sell it. I just think they really skimped in the wood deparment.
I can only imagine how incredible this guitar would sound with more wood. On the positive side, the maple top is much, MUCH thicker than the RG3120, so maybe that's the tradeoff.

Thanks for the racism, buddy. And by the way, the guitar looks absolutely gorgeous. I really want one now, haha.
