HAM 100th [NOT]Confirmed Models

http://www.highwayguitar.com/showart...d=273&cat_id=2

Theres the link.
No artist signature. Maybe later.

All i can say is, Absolutly disappointing & disgusting.
From the photo, Cheap craft and cheap specs.
Plain dot inlay with an Edge III???

The color them is purely based on traditional japan. Samurai stuff.
But i think they could do a better job on the fretboard with some fancy inlay. Not a cheap low end RG board and specs.....

Re: HAM 100th Confirmed Models

perhaps they were more interested in the 2008 prestige line then the 100th annivesary. doesnt seem liek they put in alot of effort for the 100th anni models as much as they did for the new trems, pedal and the new 24f s and sv prestige.

the rgr08 sure as hell looks alot like a rgr321ex without the neck pickup.

Great, I predict no less than 7 threads of people crying about how much the 100 HAM models suck.

Absolutely, it'll be like open season. The only question is which ones to leave open and which ones to leave shut

You might as well start one now, sticky it, and delete all the rest that come after it.

Maybe we should see if Glen wants to make a Crybaby section of the forums where topics like no neon colors and no new Jems threads can be beaten into the ground or a Dead Horse beating section, where those topics can be covered as well as "F-Spaced Vs Non-F Spaced".

I've asked Glen and the other mods whether we're going to have a "master topic" for this or allow folks to start specific ones eg JS, JEM, RG etc etc or even allow natural selection to determine which ones stay active.

Crybabies and Dead Horsies I think are both Wah pedals, so should probably be discussed inthe "gear" section Besides surely it's only fair that the new members get to have a turn at the animal carcass (if that's what they're into ) - Jeez Cid, look at the level you're bringing me down to !!!

Re: HAM 100th Confirmed Models

I don't know about you guys but I don't believe for a second that these are the HAM 100th. Where does it say on that web page that it is? All we have is "Hoshino Gakki Group 100TH即将上市产品" on top. And if it were the 100th why would it be called "RGR08ltd-bk" Don't you think it would have ham or 100th in the name, like the JS90th, PGM90th. If its just a plain black RG that is a 100th it should be called at least RG100th right? These may be some new models for 2008 but these are not the 100th I am almost willing to bet on it.

Re: HAM 100th Confirmed Models

Look at the bottom of the images, it says 100th Anniversary right on them.

Re: HAM 100th Confirmed Models

Yeah just noticed that. But still nowhere does it say "These are the 100HAM models". The 100th at the bottom could mean the 100th anniversary of Ibanez, not 100th anniversary models.

This looks like a magazine scan. Why is there a Snare drum at the bottom of the page? A 100th Anniversary Ibanez drum snare? Just before the Snare drum there are some GRG's, you really believe that Ibanez will put out a 100th anniversary GRG (Gio)? There is no way the 100th Aniversary is two black RG's, 4 acoustics, 4 bases (two iceman), 3 Gio and a snare drum. I mean come on!!! DON'T believe this.

Frankly I rather like that one on the top. It's a clean and tasteful design. I'll bet it plays really well too!
