Has anyone seen the SV5470 in person?

Is this what the top really looks like? Because that top looks like the paneling in my parent's basement. Ug-lee. Is it just a poor photo? I thought the top was more yellow than this and less figured. That top could kill it for me.

Natural finish guitars typically don't seem to look as good in photos as they do in person.

i like it, there's a high degree of figuring in that (looks like swamp ash). to each his own i guess.

Well just look at pictures of the RGA121 on the internet. Some of the pictures make it look ugly/plain, but in person it looks a lot nicer.

The SV Ibanez showed at NAMM was gorgeous. When Rich posted those photos I was in love. But if the tops on the production guitars are going to look like the wood paneling you find on a trailer's walls then forget it. I'll wait to see what tops they come out with for summer or next year.

I won't be ordering this guitar online unless it is from Rich. Really afraid of what I'll get.

I like the flame top on the other model but I don't like it in blue. Maybe I'll just order a Carvin.
