Help Identifying/Verifying RG3120 Trem (pics)

I just received my RG3120 today and looking at the trem more closely I question whether or not it is really the edge lo pro as advertised. I looked at pictures on the Ibanez Rules site and this doesn't look like either edge pro or edge lo pro to me. The ones on the site said Licensed by where this only only says Ibanez. Please let me know what I have here.

Thanks for your help. I thought the RG3120 came with the edge lo pro and had License Under written on it. Is this still a good trem?

Look on the back of the headstock. Serial number probably starts with F03. That's an Edge Pro. I believe that 2003 was the last year of production of the RG3120 in that color.

Yes is does have F03 for the SN. So far the trem seems to work well without any tuning issues but I'll give it a workout this weekend at my gigs. I was hoping it was the edge lo pro because of the lo pro's posts with the set screw but no problems so far.

The trem is a bit dusty in it's hard to get to nooks an crannys. I'd like to clean it up to help reduce any corrosion. Any suggestions on cleaning the hard to get to places without disassembling the trem?

I think a metal brush would scratch the finish and oil would just attract more grim. I may just use a soft toothbrush though.

Re: Help Identifying/Verifying RG3120 Trem (pics)

As all ready been said, it is a EDGE Pro.
In my opinion the best EDGE trem Ibanez have made.
It does not stay in tune better than the old versions, but it last longer (don't get worn down as fast in the saddles).

The best thing to use for cleaning it is chemical free gasoline and an old toothbrush.
Take the trem apart and clean the parts.

Very cool guitar!

soft metal brush wouldn't even scratch hot butter, yet it's hard enough to scrape off rust and grime a lot more than a toothbrush. and cleaning oil dries out so it wouldn't attract anything. or i've been so lucky so many years?

I'll have to give it a try when I have the time to dismantle the guitar. I'd like to give the whole thing a good cleaning anyway like Rich at Ibanez Rules describes his procedure.
