How do I remove the battery compartment on RG8320/RG8420/RG8327?

Hi,

The connection to the EMG's battery on my RG8320 has died - think I was pressing too hard on the contacts while doing a temporary 18v modification.
Question to anyone with a J-custom with EMGs - how do I remove the plastic battery compartment so I can see what's wrong with the wiring?
When I take the battery out, there's a single screw underneath I can see but with that removed it still feels secured. Don't want to wrench it and find I should have unscrewed something else too, but if there's another screw I can't see how to get at it without destroying the moving plastic section that holds the battery.

Any tips appreciated...

Found a way, i was too quick to post - a knife down either side of the battery compartment and pressing in on both sides at once frees the central area, and for reference, yes there is another screw underneath. Now I just need to solder a black wire back in place, phew.
