I am torn and can't make a decision
I have two Prestiges. I have a RGT220A-NTF and a RG3120TW. I only need one of them. Both sound and play better than anything I have ever touched. I was/am selling the RGT220A because I can get more for it to pay for some gear I want to mess around with.
My problem is I love them both. They both have a great sound, sustain, look, and feel. Only difference is the 3120 has a
Wizard neck profile
and the 220A has the
Wizard Prestige
profile which is a bit thicker.
If I go only on looks then I would keep the RGT220A because I like a natural finish. If I go on what would get me the most cash on a sale then I would keep the 3120. I do like the look of the 3120 btw.
When I started back playing again I set a moderate budge for equipment and stuff and have reached that limit. If I want more gear (better Amp) then I have to sell one. Thus I had chosen the RGT220A as I can get more for it considering it is new and has a backstop installed. I took it out this morning and played it for a few hours and thus I am torn on what to do.
My gear is a Randall RC-235 Stereo Chorus, Boss GT-6, Rockman Sustainor, Two Scholtz Soloists, and a Boss DS-1. I quite have not found a distored tone I am totally happy with yet hence the search for a amp driven tone.
If you had a limited budget what would you do. Remember it is the holidays and I have a family to buy for. I won't shaft them on Xmas so that I could fuel my GAS.
Here are some pics

Re: I am torn and can't make a decision
if you like them that much, you shouldn't sell it...you might regret either decision.

Re: I am torn and can't make a decision
I'd personally keep the 220A. Something I've concluded in life (when it comes to material goods) is to always buy the best because no matter what it costs there's simply no way to be disappointed in the best - and I've learned that the hard way over many years of trying to save a buck. With your two guitars the 220A is simply a better guitar (in my opinion) so even after many years go by there's no way you could look back and think, "I should have kept the other one."
Sure, you may get more cash for the 220A but you'll lose the better guitar. You have an extra "X" added to your gear but be playing on a lesser instrument (keep in mind I'm not saying the 3120 is bad, just not as good). Money always comes to the front of people's minds when they make a decision but it's so important to them but how about you ask yourself: If money was not a factor, what-so-ever, which guitar would you keep. Deep down you'll know that's the one you truly want and are only considering selling it because it may give you more of that oh so important cash.
ALWAYS GET/KEEP THE BEST, DAMN IT!!!

Re: I am torn and can't make a decision
If it was me (which it's not,) I would keep the one with the neck I was more comfortable with. You said the 220 was slightly thicker. Then come up with another way to raise more money.

Yeah keep 'em both, and sell some gear. If I had two guitars I really loved than there's a lot I'd do before selling one of 'em. Just start saving up - be a cheapskate for a while and buy an amp in 6 months. If you MUST sell one, I'd keep the 220 (MMM neck-thru)

Keep the 220. It's beautiful.
I am biased, though, I never liked the blue 3120, I think it's damn ugly. (Sorry for insulting your guitar).

Well I can agree somewhat. After spending time out in the shed I can back in and vedged staring at the two. I gotta stay with sexy. While I am not the biggest fan of the Edge Pro that part can be fixed by replacing it with a Lo-Pro which I will sooner or later. The 3120 is gonna go and will find itself in the for sale section tomorrow. I like the beefer neck.
Thanks fellas for the help =)

Re: I am torn and can't make a decision
This is tough one because that 3120 is in PERFECT condition and it's difficult to find them in THAT condition.
However, I'd probably advise keeping the 220 because 3120's come up on e-bay all the time, so if you ever want another one, it won't take you a long time to find one. Heck, there's a 3120 in the Classified section weekly! Keep the 220. And, that's coming from someone with two 3120's.

If it did I would not own it. Played one too long and wanted change. Takes too long to get a maple dirty looking neway.
