I have a X2N laying around, tempted to try it in my RG1570

I still have the stock pups in my rg1570, which I am really ready to change. I just paid for a RG 20th DY so I dont have $200 to get a new set of pups. I really want a TZ/AN combo. BUT, it just so happens I have a X2N laying around and I'm thinking about trying it. This would be my main metal guitar so I really tempted, any thoughts? Its been 15 yrs since i've used this pup (had it in an old Kramer) and I wonder how lethal it sounds.

Yep.. only one way to find out. If youre doing the work yourself it won't cost anything & you have nothing to loose trying it. I'd get that thing in there & give it a shot.

Yeah I have nothing to lose so its going in tonight. I'll try to post a sound clip of before/after just for grins.
