Thanks a lot guys, again, sorry for the delay, its now in the mail and itll be here hopefully by like Tuesday man, but that's the earliest estimate, most likely Friday, buy by next weekend for sure!!! thx for the congrats, I appreciate it cuz it all started and ends here and only u guys would appreciate this aqusiition really, as it should be, I couldn't wait, I had to post!
Yeah, the lowest ive seen em go for was just above $1,000 in terrible condition. Up to $1500 for good/great condition and beyond $1500 ive seen excellent+++/near mints, so I didn't hesitate when I saw 1600. of course, I tried to bargain a bit, but the seller was very firm on the price and then changed his mind about selling it and then finally accepted my payment after 2 days....so yeah I thought 1600 for the condition he said its in (excellent shape all around, the front is and top body are immaculate, only some clear coat and varnish scuff on the back), and I hope since he is a private collector and sells his own collection hes not exaggerating, but hes a bit of an older gentleman who isn't in this just for the money, he obviously buy and sells with tasteful, rare higher end guitars so im confident I got a good one for the magic $1500 price point!!!
man 1600 is the price in 2002 that I missed, check the post out from April 19, 2002 !!! , I was 17 and heartbroken!!!! :P lol
