I want a Prestige with a WizII neck!!!

HAving owned 8 Ibanez guitars, I have sold off all of my Wizard necks. Cramping being the main reason. I dislike the thin wizard neck. BUT, I play great and enjoy the feeling of a Wizard 2 profile.

I would LOVE to see an RGT, orregular RG in prestige spec with the Edge Pro. I currently have two RG's (rg350, and RGt42FM) that are great, but im NOT in love with the tremolo's!!!

Any chances Ibanez might offer us some optiuons in terms of a thicker neck onstead of ALL prestige RG's sharing that toothpick neck!!!

Voice up people, I know there are lots of you out there who want a thicker neck!!!!

yeah me for one.

get an older year of RGT320 or the predecessor RGT3020. they had the Ultra neck which is a bit thicker than wizII, not by much.
or get an old RG2120X/RG2020X they had ultra's, so did S2120x.
also RG620 had ultra.

as far as the new ones, you can get a WizII on any Korean made prestiges, but are mostly neckthru's i think.

i doubt they'll go back to the thicker neck, since the popular image of a typical RG user is a shreder lusting for a neck as thin as air and flat as my fat-flat-of-sitting ass with H-S-H and a shade of grey finish.

too bad, the RG's with Ultra necks are great, the neck is the best.

as it seems, ibanez japan made guitars are a bit low on colors and neck wood :/

Buy an RG(320,350,370) and then buy an Edge Pro, and rout it to fit.

if u can get one of those rg4xx series 2003 models those are good. most of them are mij so quality is good.you get a great trem and you get the w2 which you are looking for.

I have owned numerous Jacksons. I have owned 2 Ibanez RG 421's. I prefer Floyds now.

Sure a person can do mods and such, but I got out of that game a while back. Aside from pickups and strap locks, it never seems to work out. I want a factory fresh Ibanez RG prestige with an Edge Pro and the thicker neck.

At this stage , im likely gonna pick up a 1570, and do a neck swap, and have the neck professionally dressed up and such.

I've got an RG320DX that I fitted with EMG's and a Gotoh Floyd. The pups and trem cost more than the what I paid for the guitar. Not a Prestige but has a Wiz. II neck and a hell of a lot cheaper than a Prestige

its a bit thicker than wizII, in my opinion the best neck ibanez makes. (i think my every other post contains a rant about ultra necks.)
RGT2020 and RGT3020 have them, the '07 RGT doesnt.
