They are amongst the best,yes indeedy, but depending on where you are in the world you're gonna struggle to find a new one !!! The RG8470F may be more readily available as it's still in production.

Ahhh okay

well there was one on ibanezrules but it was sold although it says that they are looking for more to stock .. so hopefully .. ;D but if not then i will have to look elsewhere =[ do any of you know if the RG8470BX is still in production ?? its just like the RG8470F but a different colour, it's a blacky purple

Oops, I think you're a bit confused ! The current production model IS the RG8470F regardless of colour, the last two digits are the colour code : PR = Prominence, BX = Black Onyx, FE = Fire Agate. So yes, the RG8470F BX (to give it it's full model number) is still in production !!! You might be able to find an RG8270F BX otherwise.

Have you communicated with Rich, or just looked at his webpage? According to his used page, he has an 8270.

Yes I saw a couple of those in red too. Nice !!! Not on their website yet though. Colour code was given as 'RS' That means it's not the same as 'DR' I guess ??? Or is it another 'VV' / 'FE' situation ??? The same...but different..... Judging by Ibanez's current colour names it probably stands for 'Rising Sun' or something ?!?!?! The 'R' can't be for 'Red' that'd be much too obvious !!!
