never had black fingers from touching it. Prints do show up on there even when I'm lightely handling the guitar..but I guess anything with a black finish will look dirty easily.

No flaking and no black fingers.

Very sturdy finish actually, despite having been broken in.

Had a 2002 Saber with the same finish - main guitar, played it hard and brought it all around. Even had a screwdriver slip over it... minimal scratching, compared to some regular finish.

I am getting a RG Prestige for $300 with this finish. I wonder how hard it would be to remove it..

Two guitars with this finish. Usually end up with some black under my little fingernail after playing them, so it does wear over time. The finish is duller where my nail has scratched away at it from normal playing. Doesn't look particularly bad though, still very cool looking guitars and all other areas show no signs of wear. Unless you're looking to keep one in collector condition, I wouldn't let it stop you.
