Ibanez JCRG Gold

Hey guys, can anyone verify the authenticity of this guitar. Here's the E*** item number (260013387554). Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Ibanez JCRG Gold

I would ask for him to produce more detailed pics. I know what a JCRG Gold2 looks like. Can't say I've ever seen that one.

These don't have pickguards either

No disrespect to the seller, but his grammar is a bit askew. It almost reads like one of the Chibanez ads.

The gold's didn't come with a pickguard. It looks otherwise like a JCRG Gold1. If someone added a guard, they ruined it.

I remember when that one sold a few years ago. It's not supposed to have a pickguard and the add had claimed it was "the only one with one", but I suspect it was added later..

Re: Ibanez JCRG Gold

Got a reply from seller yesterday. His email tracked to be from Germany. A bit confusing. Auction says guitar is in CA. Seller in Germany. Bad english in auction description and in his email. I won't publish his name here but it doesn't look like german (its english/american kind of name). Then why bad english? More questions: he doesn't accept traceable payment methods (eg PayPal or similar).. in other words.. once you send him the money you have little to none chance of recovering it if something goes wrong.

I've owned a J-Custom RG Gold2 and sold it not so long ago with an intension to get a Gold1 (didn't like birdies). Now I have a chance.. but all the qustions above.. you know what I mean.

Forget it, I say. Sounds toally dodgy, especially since he won't use PayPal.
