Ibanez RG20071

Does anyone know anything about this model? There's a link to it on highwayguitar.com but I don't get any pictures, just a load of Japanese text I don't understand.

Re: Ibanez RG20071

the RG2005 and 2006 were so freaking cool, I thought they would keep it going, but that is actually quite ugly. Again, no color, no maple.

Tisk Tisk Ibanez, you can do better than that!!!!!!!!!

haha yes, i knew it, they've ran out of names for black and have resorted to using a random word then black afterwards.

What is black about the Himalayas?

Although im interested, because i like trans black flames and offset dots so im not complaining

Re: Ibanez RG20071

Doesnt that look like a trans black 3120 with the fancy stripe doodad added? Jeez - kinda expected something more exciting after the 05 and 06.

Re: Ibanez RG20071

I had high hopes for my RG2007 fabric designs:

Maybe 2008...

I kinda like the RG20071 but it's got a big pricetag: 1800 Euro, the white one is 1400 Euro. Probably the abalone and the AAA flamed maple, but that's a big price difference.

Re: Ibanez RG20071

take PRS for comparison... 400e for the pigeons.
its not such a big price difference if you look at it from that point

Re: Ibanez RG20071

Yeah but still, my RG2820CT has the J custom tree of life with abalone but was 600 Euro cheaper than the 20071. And the offset dot isn't that special. Still, I like it.
