Ibanez RGA321FSPB

Hey guys what do you think about this guitar? I'm sure most of you probably haven't played it yet, but isnt the finish beautiful? I just have one kind of issue. The headstock. Am I the only one not digging the brown-ish wood finish? Anyway, it kind of fits the guitar...right? Well let me know your opinions, and wait, where can you even find this guitar? I was rich put it would arrive to him in 7-10 days, but that was about 2+weeks ago. Hmm l8erz

It's in stock, if you're waiting for me to update the website, well,

I like the rosewood overlays, always have.

Re: Ibanez RGA321FSPB

I've got one ordered. Not sure how long the wait's going to be, cos i'm not sure whether the UK distributers have stock at the moment... but I can't wait

I wasn't sure about the headstock either, but i convinced myself it'll look great 'in the flesh'! The finish also looks different on the official ibanez pictures (has a sort of green-ish hue to it) to all of the other pictures i've seen. I'm actually hoping it's just the very rich blue colour... Just look at how fantastic it looks here:

Oh yes.

(Hello all, by the way... 1st comment and all that!)

Re: Ibanez RGA321FSPB

Average_Jon , my local shop has 1 of both RGA models , 321 and 121 , I believe . You are indeed correct - it looks great in the flesh !! Headstock doesn't stand out too much , but I'm with Rich , I like 'em anyway . As for the color , the Ibanez site is correct . The one I looked at in the store looked exactly like Ibanezs' pics . There probably are variations in the color , but I don't think it as much as you hoped! I'd like to see it available in a blue similiar to your pics though , I kinda like it . Enjoy it !

Had to edit - Sorry , Average_Jon , I forgot to WELCOME you !

Look here: http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/img/goods/1/1/33469_b.gif
Its 321 in black, I like it more than blue. It's a shame we don't have more trans black (or onyx) guitars here in Europe.

Looks like the blue one in a badly lit situation to me.

How much are you selling them for Rich? And does the RGA look more like the green-ish blue one on your site on the 2005 NAMM pictures or does it look more like that blue one in Average_Jons post? thx

If you look on the site, there is another pic of the body and it's definetely black and it is listed as back, not blue.

Re: Ibanez RGA321FSPB

Oooh, the black one looks nice too, but I still prefer the blue or blue/green models... the black one looks a little bit plain to my eyes for such an expensive guitar!

I really can't work out what's going on with the colourings at the moment, though - found these pics too, again of the very vivid blue colour:

http://www.umenaka.com/syasin/syasin...F%20SPB.50.jpg

That's obviously a japanese store, so I'd wondered if they had a different shade over there; but those first pics were from an american trader's site (I didn't post the site/pic link directly to try not to step on anyone's toes!) So Vai only knows what's going on... maybe the European models will turn out be purple or something! I'll definitely post pics when i get mine though.

I haven't done any figuring for 05' yet. The one I have is lighter and pure blue [I think, haven't seen it in a week or 2]
