Ibanez S2120X pics & info

Hi guys,

I have read the other posts on this lovely instrument, I can't find however many decent photos of this axe, and would like to ask ppl to post what they have of it - info, pics and everything please!!

I am about to buy one which is almost new and am unable to see it, and for example I have never seen what the back of the thing looks like or any detailed pics in fact.

Is that a used S2120X you're getting? I saw one advertised recently in the UK for about £699 i think.

JTM - yeah I'm buying one for £699 !!! - where did you see it advertised? Is it worth that much? they tell me it's hardly used with some minor pick scratches.

wow! 699! i paid $699 which is about half of the that price! for what you guys would pay for that, i could get a J-Custom!
i did really like my S2120 and love my S520 very much. i don't miss the piezo since i don't play acoustic gigs anymore. they are very lightweight, sexy beasts! good luck and post a few pics when/if you get one.

Thanks for the great pics screamndemon - that's an S2020X isn't it? What pickups you had in there? What's the neck like in comparison to your Jem, I now it's prolly a bit thicker...
Yeah, at that price, it's used , I could probally get a J-custom for around £1000, but I'll be too worried about touching it I was considering a 2nd hand EBMM Petrucci model for £899 I want the 2120 because it has the piezos and would be a versatile bit of kit. But a J-custom is coming next... maybe I'll come on holiday to the States and buy myself an axe there, it's difficult to actually go into a shop and play the top of the line Ibanez axes, not many stores stock them, and if they do it's only a few, they stock stuff that sells more the the Gibsons and the Fenders. oh well.
