Ibanez S5470 Prestige

I'm surpised no one has put up a thread for this guitar.

Give me your thoughts on this guitar.

I find it to be very nice with a 24 frets and the nice lookin pickups and all but I don't really like the colour options for it.

P.S. I'm too lazy to post any pics atm. The Price is $1733 USD on Ibanez Rules.

That is list price.

The colors are nothing new, they're the same finish they've sold 1000's of S's in, and probably why they chose them. Safe. I'd like to see the "tease" guitar finish for sale in the US also, but it's not.

Probably since it's too close to that JP Mystic Dream finish...similar coloration...truthfully tho'...I really like Herman's signature piece's finish and I generally HATE gold hardware....but that thing is just cool.

Eh, the HLM thinks it's a Jem. Grip, scalloped top frets, and Herman Li used to use Evos before he got his signature DiMarzios.

Yeah that's true...but it's different from the S range...well not so much now that they're pimping the 24 fret deals...I just like purple lol.

Rich, are you going to stock those locking tuners? Do you know if they're going to come in cosmo finish?

Parts are never available that fast. Much less will the part numbers be up in thier parts section so they can even attempt to be ordered.

did you get the TKS or the other finish? I really hope it wasn't TKS, because then I'm going to have to wait even longer to get the guitar from him..... damnit.... should have ordered by now...
