Ibanez Usa Custom strange model

Hi to all:

I found this model at bay 7421751657. The body is like rg but with the cleared contours of the body. Somebody know this model?. Regards.

Otherwise pretty normal looking but its body edges are rounded. Maybe it was reshaped afterwards.

The headstock is weird too.

Pretty sure that's a Peavey headstock. Like the ones used on the Vandenburg model Peavey.

Nope. The USA Custom headstocks were a little different than the standard Japanese headstock, but this looks legit to me. Not familiar mind you, but legit.

It looks like a UCEW that's had the edges on the facing side rounded off, then refinished. I bet there were some major battle scars on the front side, and rounding the entire front edge was the only way to get them out. The nasty one near the cavity cover in the last picture is probably a good example of what the front looked like. What a shame. --Jason

If you look at the rest of the site, specifically http://humberto760.tripod.com/id12.html, you can see the construction shots. This is something someone built. I've never seen the Jap headstock but looking at the one picture, it looks to even have the cutout along the top edge like the Peavey. The differences being that it looks like the very tip might be a bit more rounded and the truss rod cover seems to be shaped differently.

Um, you guys are looking at his signature link. Look at the auction site he listed, #7421751657. It looks like a UCEW, but the edges of the body have a much grater radius than the normal RG shape. It's either a modded UCEW or it's a custom body with a USAC neck. Either way, something's fishy.

Cool guitar though, and a reasonable price if it is legit.

Almost every guitar I look at on the bay is :

1.misrepresented
2.overly worn
3.overpriced
4.damaged
5.modified
6.fake
7.crap

And that's only what you can tell from the pictures. I'd hate to see what they look in person.

As matter of fact, I'm not even going to waste my time looking on there anymore.

With respect to the sale at the bay #7421751657, this is a some seller words: "No serial # on this one so it might be a one of a kind prototype, it was made in the USA in the1990's, includes the very nice Ibanez hard case.". Regards

Well, that explains that......I was looking at the link in the sig line (-Signature:
