identify this USA Custom - tell me about my axe

i've had this baby for about 4 months, my first ibanez and i love it so far but know nothing about it! i'm asking for some help with the neck over in the tech forum, but am getting more questions asked than i can really answer, so perhaps you all can help.

here's a picture.

the serial number is F020834

she's got a nice flamed top, the bridge pickup is a dimarzio X2N and i think the neck is an evolution (tho i'm not certain). the minitoggle is a coil tap for both pickups.

i'm looking for details on year, where and who made it (i.e. was it one of the companies ibanez contracted to make guitars), what kind of wood the body is, type of truss rod, and whatever else you can tell me!

as an aside, i picked her up for $399 with OHSC. a good buy i would say

You seem to have a 1990 exotic wood. the rest of your questions should be able to be answered on this site in the usa custom spec section.

All the Exotic Wood models are listed as H-S-H though, this guitar is H-H.

read thru the USA Custom Shop history for more info. Catalog scans also for those models. These were available in ANY pickup config and the listed features were the standard ordering, if a dealer or customer made no changes. That's a great axe... it was a steal ...glen
