I dont know where to post, so pls dont flame me if I am in wrong section.

Anyone here buy a guitar from Ishibashi and imported to UK before? If so, do you need to pay VAT? Do they ship to your door or need to collect the item from post office?

Yes, you'll need to pay VAT. Not sure about the UK, but here in Ireland, it got shipped to my door. They ship with EMS.
