info on USA custom shop Reb Beach

Recently a guitar attracted my attention which I'm not sure what to think about. It is a Reb Beach with Serial Number LA080592, from which I take that it has been made in the USA custom shop in 1992. I am not aware that the RBM was made anywhere else than I Japan or Korea, so this seems rather strange. Also the head has a different color than the body, which also seems unusual. Here is a picture:

Probably it is also worth mentioning that it has scalloped frets.

Does anyone know what model this is exactly, and maybe make a guess at what it is worth?

Regards,
helios

The head may be LACS but I doubt the body is, the paint would match if it was.

Thanks for the reply.
So you recon it did not come out of the factory like this, but was later modified?
Its got Seymour-Duncan-PUs and a Floyd Rose, so is it likely to be a good quality USA or Japan guitar, or is this impossible to tell without close inspection?
Im not really interested in collector value, but playability, so is this likely to be a cheap Korea instrument or will it handle OK apart from the looks?

(Sorry to ask these stupid questions here, I'm an Ibanez-newby who is looking for a decent guitar for an affordable price)

More than likely it's had alot of alteration, RB's never came with SD's and the pic is too small to see if the bridge is TRS or Lo Pro but from what I can see it looks TRS [Korean]
