Input jack on Ibanez Prestige

Hey guys, for those who have a prestige Ibanez, when you plug your instrument cable into the jack, is it suppose to be really snug? Like you even get a popping noise as you plug it in? I just wondered because I had a strat before this Prestige RGA321FBX model, and the jack was always loose and now when I plug the Ibanez in, it feels really tight like I may be pushing it in too hard. Let me know thx

Reasonably snug but it shouldn't involve any force to push it in at all. Open it up and check it out if you don't think it's right

It should be a snug fit.
You can't push it in too far.
It probably needs breaking in.

I won't get a ban for this coz of course the Mods don't have dirty minds........ I hope !!??

Yes the jack on the Prestige guitars is a snug fit, as it should be. Don't worry about it.

yeah I noticed if you push it in like gently, the plug will go in like 3/4 of the way, but its still not all the way in......unless you push it a bit harder, then the WHOLE plug goes into the guitar. I'm assuming the whole plug is suppose to be in the guitar so i push it a little more thats why I was asking.
