Is my guitar a prestige or what?

Hi. New to the forum so I hope i am posting in the right place. I could use some help identifying a guitar I recently purchased used. It is H-S-H config with IBZ F4-N C3-M F2-B. Serial number is F330381, indicating 1993 Fuji production. Color is unique pink or purple with dark purple pups. Sharktooth inlays on MAPLE board are alos this purple or fuscia color, headstock matches, neck and peghead bound, neckplate says California and is mounted on a contoured slant, no serial number on plate. Trem is Lic. FR. It is in a prestige deluxe case. Signed by Nuno, BTW. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks.

Those weren't considered prestige when they were made were they?

Prestige wasn't around in those days. Basically it was considered as being just a hair under a Jem quality-wise.

So it's a Prestige without the actual Prestige title?

Basically, yeah.

In ye olde days, anything MIJ is what was considered on the same level as Prestige. When you look at it, it still is considering everything Prestige is MIJ (with the odd exception.)

Prestige specifically refers to fret end and board edge finishing. These are not Prestige, they're not even close.

You know what I mean though, guitars that are highly regarded in the RG line-up.

It just has the most bells and whistles, but that has nothing to do with quality level. It's no better a build than a 570, it just has more add ons
