Is RG2550 stamped on the neck of all prestige wizards?

I pulled the neck off my RG20051 and the neck said RG2550. The body said RG20051. I'm just curious about if that's on the back of all wizard prestiges. I know the RG20051 is supposed to be the same as an rg1570, that's why I was curious about the 2550 stamp and not 1570; but then again isn't the only difference between a 1570 & a 2550 the pickguard?

And the pickups.

Don't worry about it, this has always been the thing with Ibanez, you can get all kinds of guitars with a neck stamp for a different guitar.

Thanks man. I looked at the bottom of my pickups while back and they just had like a letter and a number if I remember right but it wasn't like v7, v8. I'm guessing that's what these pickups are but i've got a an rg570 with v7,v8 pickups and these sound a whole lot better, must have been wound on a good day!

They have the v1 and v2 pickups. The sound is debateable honestly, on whether or not they really are better, they probably just sound different but to each his own :P

ohh, thanks. The bridge pickup is pretty good, not a whole lotta gain on it though but the neck sounds lovely on clean and really creamy with distortion. The neck & single coil coil together on clean are awesome

My favourite setting. With a bit of distortion too, though.
