Is this a JC or Prestige?

Being sold on e-Bay UK. I messaged the seller and explained that if it doesn't say JC on the headstock, it's just a Prestige. Now I'm not 100% sure, after thinking about it. Can someone confirm?

The 3270 is a 'Prestige' not a JC.

Nice guitar but it's waaaayyy over-priced (as are most UK Ibanez guitars though unfortunately).

You could get a JC for that kinda' money no problem if you imported one.

'Ikebe-Gakki' in Japan is probably the place you'll get the best prices from but you have to take the UK import tax and duty into account when buying from abroad.
Most of the guitars at Ikebe will still work out cheaper even after the shipping and VAT and stuff though,and they have some really nice limited edition models that are made exclusively for them.

Thanks man.

I made an enquiry yesterday about importing a JC from Ishibashi, and the price suprised me. Even with shipping it came to just over £1000 for an RG8470, so even with tax it would work out pretty good. I have serious GAS now!

Thanks. When it comes to buying a JC I will indeed ask Rich what he's got. I am particularly interested in the RG8470 (red one), but now isn't the right time (lack of funds). I hope to own a JC one day.

A Prestige says Prestige on the headstock (like this one being auctioned) and the J.Customs say J.Custom on the headstock.

If I recall, the RG3270 and RG3270M are Prestiges made by the J-Custom team. (they usually sport the 2nd Custom shop serial number like some of the older J-Customs). But if it says prestige on the headstock then it's a prestige. Even though the Texas Prestiges and the RG7CT are really J-Customs with the prestige branding, they're still Prestiges because that's what it says on the headstock.
